Program designed to promote development of applications and products to enhance Storage Area Networks

Cereva Networks Inc., a developer of Internet Storage systems for large enterprises, service providers and carriers, today announced that it has joined the Brocade Fabric Threads Developer Program. According to the companies, the program is designed to provide SAN hardware and software developers with the tools and resources to create new products and applications and successfully complete interoperability testing with Brocade SilkWorm(R) fabric switches, the Brocade Fabric Operating System (Fabric OS(TM)), and Brocade Fabric Services.

"Cereva is honored to become a Brocade Fabric Threads Developer," said Mahesh N. Ganmukhi, Cereva president and CEO. "We believe that our participation in the program not only underscores the importance of interoperability in SAN implementation in general, but perhaps more importantly, sends a clear message to Brocade users that our ultimate goal is putting customers' needs and requirements first."

"We are delighted to welcome Cereva to the Brocade Fabric Threads Developer Program. Together with our partners, we continue to lead the way in delivering new SAN capabilities and expanding the options for Brocade customers," said Jack Cuthbert, Brocade vice president of Sales, Marketing, and Support Services. "By leveraging the intelligence in Brocade-based infrastructure, our partners can offer new levels of SAN interoperability and management functionality to their customers."
