Crossroads 8000 qualified as interoperable with VERITAS NetBackup

Crossroads Systems Inc. today announced that VERITAS Software Corporation has qualified its new line of multi-protocol routers, the Crossroads 8000, as interoperable with VERITAS NetBackup(tm).

"Testing and compatibility between Crossroads and VERITAS Software ensures full interoperability in a heterogeneous environment," said Neal Ater, senior vice president of data protection products, VERITAS Software. "The Crossroads 8000 and VERITAS NetBackup further enable our customer to take advantage of leading storage products that are easy to use and manage together.
