Conference organizers plan to host the next conference September 9-12, 2001 at the Alcora Hotel in Seville, Spain. In addition to the international conference, a U.S.-based conference is planned October 22-24, 2001 at the Renaissance Orlando Resort in Orlando, Fla.
"As evidenced by the increased growth of attendance and sponsorship at Storage Networking World Spring 2001 last week, storage continues to be a primary concern for the global operations of CIOs and IT directors," said Alan R. Guibord, president, CEO and publisher of Computerworld. "With more than 50 editions published worldwide and a strong readership among global IT decision-makers, Computerworld will help storage networking vendors connect with IT users across the globe at Storage Networking World Europe."
"European IT decision-makers are faced with the same storage challenges as their U.S. counterparts," said Michel Grosbost, chairman, SNIA Europe. "IT users outside the United States also need access to a forum that provides a focused education regarding global storage technologies, strategies and investments. Storage Networking World Europe will provide the training needed to help European IT leaders keep pace with the expanding storage marketplace."
Storage Networking World Fall conferences will offer vendor and users opportunities to explore today's storage technology. Program information and detailed conference agendas for each event will be posted online at www.computerworld.com/snw.
