SAN Holdings, a provider of storage solutions to Fortune 1000 and State and Federal Government clients today announced it has become a Sun Microsystems iForce(SM) Regional System Provider.

SAN Holdings, Inc. (Storage Area Networks), a provider of storage solutions to Fortune 1000 and State and Federal Government clients today announced it has become a Sun Microsystems, Inc. iForce(SM) Regional System Provider. According to Storage Area Networks, the relationship is aimed at managing the growing data storage requirements of enterprise companies.

As a Regional System Provider, Storage Area Networks says they are working closely with Sun to integrate engineering expertise, hardware technologies and consulting services to enable customers to build reliable, dynamic, flexible, manageable and efficient data storage architectures. Sun(TM) products Storage Area Networks will integrate include the Sun Enterprise StorEdge T3 array, Sun StorEdge tape libraries, Sun StorEdge management software and Sun Enterprise Servers.

Tom Gallivan, director system providers, Sun Microsystems said, "Sun continues to build relationships with companies such as Storage Area Networks in order to build out the network infrastructure that is requested by our joint customers with wide-ranging solutions from servers, to storage, to the iPlanet product line."
