CommVault(R) Systems Inc.today announced the availability of the latest release of its CommVault Galaxy(TM) software, version 3.7.0.
The company said this version extends CommVault's data protection by expanding support for UNIX and Microsoft environments, as well as global enterprises with NAS devices and SAN architectures. According to CommVault, CommVault Galaxy version 3.7.0 offers unified, scalable data protection for distributed IBM AIX, Compaq Tru64 and Microsoft XP environments, in addition to HP/UX, Sun Solaris, Linux, Windows, Netware, Oracle, Informix, SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint Portal Server, and Lotus Notes. Expanded NAS/SAN support for Network Appliance, BlueArc and EMC Fastrax environments is also included.
