LSI Logic Ultra160 SCSI HBAs Certified as Red Hat Ready

Testing validates Linux OS compatibility for the enterprise user

LSI Logic Corporation today announced it has received certification from Red Hat for its Ultra160 SCSI family of host bus adapters (HBAs). Certification is for compatibility with the Red Hat Linux operating system (OS).

"Enterprise users demand high performance, mission-critical quality. LSI Logic's Ultra160 SCSI host adapters set the industry standard using our exclusive SureLINK(TM) domain validation technology," said Bob Anderson, director of the LSI Logic host bus adapter business group. "Completion of all Red Hat Hardware Certification tests and related requirements is an important milestone for us and a demonstration of our continued commitment to open source solutions."
