Raidtec today announced a new addition to its NAS family of File Server Appliances - the SNAZ E4. The E4 is a high performance Gigabit Ethernet full-featured file server for simultaneous support of Windows and Unix/Linux client computers on a LAN. The system is optimized for workgroup and departmental installations with hot removable/hot spare ATA drives in 320GB, 480GB, 640GB and 1TB capacities. LVD SCSI or Fibre Channel SAN options are available. 10/100 and Gigabit Ethernet LAN connections, in addition to LVD SCSI for backup devices are standard.
